If you are reading this, you may be feeling overwhelmed by the process of trying to find a therapist or figuring out if therapy is right for you. You may even be wondering, what exactly is therapy?
I try to do my best to support my clients in feeling comfortable as they ease themselves into the therapeutic process. This can look like a lot of different things including but not limited to, learning more about you, your relationships, your different identities, and what is bringing you to seek therapy in the first place. This time together helps me to understand you and begin building the therapeutic relationship which will allow you to heal, gain insights, learn skills, relieve symptoms, and much more.
So who can benefit from these services? Currently, I am offering virtual therapy services to children and teens (age 7 to 17) and adults. We will collaborate together to identify goals and use different methods including art therapy, traditional talk therapy, and sensory-based activities to explore and build strengths, reduce and alleviate symptoms, learn communication strategies, and practice self-regulation.
